Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

In case you’re new here, I’m Sharon Meins, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I am also a wife, mother, grandmother, and former teacher, and I love a good cup of coffee while chatting with friends. I want to help you reconnect with yourself and those you love the most.

I specialize in working with couples who are committed to their partners, but due to high levels of conflict and patterns of distress, are having difficulty feeling close and connected. I also specialize in working with individuals who keep feeling baffled that they continue to feel insecure, anxious, depressed, or unhappy despite their logical understanding that they are OK.

As a person of faith, I can help you integrate your Christian spirituality into your life in ways that feel more experiential, accessible, and connective with yourself and God.

My passion to help you comes from my own experience of the ups and downs of the relationship roller coaster ride. I have felt the fear, insecurity, and pain of feeling disconnected, hurt, and alone.

After many years, and my own share of painful experiences, I was able to take the steps needed to move out of stuckness and into a place that felt more secure, connected, and empowered. One of the ways this happened for me was through Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT has helped me feel seen, heard, and understood in ways I never knew were possible. It also has helped me understand and see my loved ones in new ways that have helped our relationships change for the better by connecting more deeply and by forming new and more positive patterns of interacting.

I would love to use my experience and training to help you feel more connected, empowered, and whole within and with the people you love the most. I am convinced that this is what we all long for! I would be so honored to help you move from the places where you feel stuck into a renewed sense of security, safety, connection, and hope.
